Blooming Object is a soundart duo created by Maciej Waleszczyk and Jan Skorupa. The authors take up the subject of musical speculation realized through the use of self-made generative instruments.
Ogrody dzwiekowe (Sound gardens) as we understand are an organic sound ecosystem. Within this thought, we envision sound as living matter, brought to life through the use of self-made generative instruments.
This form, separated from strictly composed structures, allows the element of chance or unpredictability to be incorporated into the creative process. In this arrangement, the creator ceases to be at the center and is shifted to a companion to the created experience. As a Blooming Object, we collaborate with the created "ecosystem”.
Blooming Object is a double-track project.
Artists create sound-art site-specific installations based
on spatial sound and video projections. On the other hand,
they perform casual concerts with additional visual layers.
Our performance or installations are adaptable to any venue
or gallery facilities. We perform casual concerts with preferable
use of multichannel audio systems from quadraphonic up to ∞.
We are also interested in creating site-specific custom installations.
Installation
Ogrody Dźwiękowe (Sound Gardens) is an immersive audiovisual installation based on 20 speakers and multichannel video display. At the same time, the installation is a concert space in which the artists perform their compositions live.
